Heather Hall, MSW, LCSW
After earning a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I went on to complete a Master's Degree in Social Work from The University of Texas in 2012. Following, I followed my life-long dream and opened my private practice in 2013!
I am licensed in the state of North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My clinical specialties include:
• Play Therapy
• Sand Tray Therapy
• Motivational Interviewing
• Attachment-Based Therapy
I am honored to join children, adolescents, and adults on their journey toward healing and connection. When a client chooses to include me in their inner-most experiences, I am humbled by the magnitude of their trust and hope, thankful to be walking alongside them down this path. I collaborate with clients to find solutions, uncover capabilities, and strengthen relationships and connections. My goal is to leave clients with strategies, communication skills, and ways of thinking that can be transferred from the therapy room to everyday life - to parenting, friendships, family dynamics, and those moments at 2 a.m. when it is difficult to fall back asleep.
For adults and adolescents, my approach to therapy is relational, creative and collaborative and I believe very strongly in forming a trusting relationship with my clients. For children, I use a variety of creative and play-based techniques to help them feel safe, comfortable, and able to express themselves. Please visit the "What Is Play Therapy?" tab above to learn more about my techniques.
I truly believe as though I am doing the work I was destined to do. Every day I marvel at how lucky I am to spend my working days with children and families, helping them discover within themselves what they already possess.
